Avana’s shares are up 2% to end at $5,000.
In 2017, Acetaminophen and Nuvigil were the top two brands on the Nasdaq for the first time in two decades.
Acetylsalicylic acid is a drug used to treat nausea and vomiting.
Nuvigil was also a top-10 brand in 2017 with revenues in the U.S. of $2 billion, up 9% from 2016, according the U-verse website.
Acronidapam, a drug that blocks an enzyme that can cause cancer, was the No. 1 drug in the United States last year.
